The Renovation Revisited reopens the conversation about home, identity, and healing first explored in The Renovation. Originally, the piece reflected on the relationship between the soul and the mind, and how depression and broken relationships disrupt our sense of belonging. This time, the performance delves deeper, challenging narratives of victimhood and examining the role of personal accountability in our healing journey.

Through movement and immersive storytelling, I explore the tension between internal struggles and external societal forces that shape who we are. Can we truly free ourselves from cycles of self-concealment and self-deprecation? In this iteration, the soul is finally given space to be fully seen—free from the constraints that have long held it back.
